Friday morning I woke up to the news that Michael Jackson had passed away. It made me really sad. What has made me sadder since is the media assault. Digging up every bit of dirt they can find. For all his eccentricities he was a fabulous artist. He lived for and through his craft.
After watching the news reports on Friday I did the only thing that seemed appropriate, I put on our copy of ‘History’ and listened to the artistry that made this man so famous. All weekend his CD played in my car, I am in awe of his creativity and talent. His lyrics particularly in his later songs are so raw and honest. His music is timeless.
