This is a new making project for 'Button' and she has really enjoyed it so far! I love her enthusiasm for things that I have made for her, very good for the ego!! This idea was originally seen on Better Homes and Gardens, but of course I have given it a 'Beautifully Recreated' flavour.
I used fabric that I had instead of purchasing fabrics specifically for this project. I had an old set of lace curtains which I thought would be perfect and painting some of the flowers at the front really worked very well. It also helped to blend the colours of the lace and the dark blue satin so that they worked together more cohesively.
Very happy with the result and very happy that 'Button' loves her new cubby!!
